Young Adults

The years of adolescence and young adulthood are ones of upheaval, change, and growth. The challenges, transitions and increasing responsibilities young adults face can seem overwhelming and isolating. How you cope with the challenges of these years will, to some extent, determine your future life.

At Mindgift, we work with young adults to equip you with the skills needed to handle emotional problems, develop healthy and appropriate feelings about yourself, your behaviour, relationships and responsibilities. The better you are able to master your emotions, the greater your capacity to enjoy life, cope with stress, and achieve personal goals. Being emotionally healthy means you:

• Can understand and adapt to the many changes often happening around you and help your relationships with others

• Have a positive self-concept improving your self confidence and self esteem

• Can act independently to overcome any challenges you are facing such as stress and anxiety, phobias etc

“Helen has helped my daughter Ella achieve at what we thought was the impossible!!!! Her expertise at this profession has put normality into family life again. My daughter had a fear of the dentist, and needed moulds done, teeth extracted and braces on. Even a simple check up was an ordeal, but after a series of appointments with Helen and encouraging words from her before each dental visit, she calmed her down making her thoughts really positive, finally achieving the impossible!!I would firstly like to thank Helen for her help and would not hesitate in recommending her professional services to anyone.” Julia Loynes-OHare
